Robyn has been creating fine art photos for 5 years professionally. However, she has been taking pictures since she was a young child. Her love of photography comes from her father, Jim, who was her first, and best, teacher!
Over the years Robyn has had the ability to travel all over the world taking various fine art pictures that comprise her extensive portfolio. In 2006, she opened Robyn Rowles Photography Gallery, Studio & Cafe in the New Town area of Edinburgh, Scotland. At this time Robyn became acquainted with many wonderful artists from all over the world, in both fine art and photography. Even though she closed the gallery in 2008 to relocate back to the USA, for her husbands job, many of those same artists stay with her. You can see all of their work under the 'Gallery' section of this website.
In 2008, Robyn joined the Edinburgh Zoo on a delegation trip they took to China to secure the Giant Panda at the Zoo. As a result of that trip her photos were featured on the front page of Scotland's leading newspaper, The Scotsman, as well as being used by the BBC and news agencies worldwide.
Currently Robyn is living in Barrington, Rhode Island and owns Robyn Rowles Photography and Artist in You. The photography studio still features fine art and photographic gallery work for purchase, as well family, senior, wedding and boudoir photography services. Robyn's boudoir work has been featured in magazines, newspapers and tv, most recently 'The Rhode Show'. Her portrait work stands out, as the shots have a candid, relaxed feel that truly captures each persons individual style. Above all else you feel have fun and enjoy your shoot!
